It can be difficult to get an anonymous email address these days when it seems everyone wants to sell our data for profit.. to save hours of searching, I have included the best free anonymous email accounts in 2021 and I will keep it updated. I'm not affiliated to any of them. 
 
I should start by reminding you that you probably need a VPN. Its difficult to get a permanent email address while using tors proxies because a lot of providers block tor IP's . Its seems that most of the well knows email providers want your real IP address, real email, and real phone number, which all has to be verified.
 
When you use tor proxies to make your Gmail account (or other data snooping email account), your IP was different, and every-time you log back in your tor IP will be different and they will eventually just ban your account when they find out its from tor network.
 

Here's how you can get around all that for free. 

Install Windscribe VPN! It has a free plan, doesn't save logs, and has a nice GUI interface.
 
You can choose your specific IP from which ever country you want,when logging into your Gmail account, Ebay or whatever it is, using a good VPN will make sure the IP address stays the same.

The last thing anyone needs is to be strolling round the web for 4 hours. trying to find a single email provider that doesn't want your phone number and other personal info so they can sell it.

If some email providers wont let you sign up, try changing your IP address to one that matches the providers country, and remember, if using a tor proxy you will struggle to get and keep an account with the larger providers.
 

Can you get a Gmail account without phone verification?

YES! If you want a Gmail account, don't sign up for a Gmail account, they will want your number to verify, instead, make an account with blogger.com, that way you wont be asked for a phone number, and they will automatically make you a google account, with it comes the Gmail and YouTube account.

ProtonMail needs number for verification?

Here's a walk-around for that

If you get asked for a your number with no option of using another email or the captcha, try the following methods:
  1. Get a VPN so you can change your IP address
  2. If you cant get a VPN you could try a browser emulator
  3. Alternatively you can try this free online proxy tool
  4. keep visiting ProtonMail on different IP's
  5. keep visiting on different browsers
Its a numbers game, eventually you'll just be able to do a captcha to get an account, don't give in.
 

Bypass phone verification 

Just in case your still struggling, I will add some more resources below, but this should be used as a last resort because they are free services and thus get used a lot, you have a small chance of one these actually working with something like YouTube, ProtonMail or Instagram, however if its a small business you are using for, then your chances will increase ten fold.

Conclusion

I have tried to keep the list as described and I will keep running tests on them, but some providers will change how they do things frequently, if you notice one of them is down or now needs a number for verification etc, please let me know so I can delete it from the list!
